Leo Enrollment Day

Hey guys, it's back to school once again! Time to recruit new members to join our service club, LEO CLUB.

As planned,
On the 3rd of January 2013, 10 Leos from the Leo Clubs of SMK Kepong Baru were involved in our Leo enrollment day which was held in our school hall. Our main objective was to promote Leo club and also encourage the first formers to join our club.

At around 1.30pm, the Leos gathered in the canteen to rehearse what they were going to do and say on stage. After that, the Leos were called upon as it was their turn to go on stage. Our Leos walked onto the stage wearing their vests and recited the Leo pledge together. Other than that, the OC, Leo Ong Yeap Kai briefly explained what is Leo and what they will gain if they join Leo. Our Leos also shared their experiences and also talked about some activities that our club has had throughout the years.

It was a good experience for the Leos to go on stage as they could enhance their public speaking abilities. It was also good for them to be able to share the importance of Leo to the younger students and encourage them to join our club so that they will be able to experience things that others might not have the chance to.
